A Chapter Worth Celebrating

There are some moments that feel a little surreal, and graduation was certainly one of them.
On 27th July, our founder, Phoebe Hayward, officially graduated from the University of Wolverhampton with an MSc in Digital Marketing Management with Distinction.
But the day was made even more special with another achievement. Phoebe was awarded The School Prize for Postgraduate Achievement in Business and Law, recognising personal growth and commitment to academic excellence.
A month on, it still feels strange to say it.
Phoebe’s journey began with a passion for creativity and a degree in Graphic Design at the
University of Wolverhampton.
Studying Graphic Design provided the foundations for understanding visual communication, branding and the importance of creating work that connects with an audience. It was during this time that an interest in the wider digital landscape began to grow.
That led to an MSc in Digital Marketing Management, developing a stronger understanding of strategy, digital communication, social media and the role marketing plays in helping businesses grow.
Combining these two areas has become a key part of the approach behind Hayward Social Studio.
While completing her Masters, Phoebe began building her freelance career alongside her studies.
What started with individual projects and helping businesses with their creative and digital needs gradually developed into something much bigger.
Freelancing provided the opportunity to work directly with clients, understand the challenges businesses face and gain experience across different areas of marketing and design.
Over time, that experience helped shape the vision for Hayward Social Studio.
Today, the studio supports small and medium enterprises across the Midlands and further afield with digital marketing, content creation, graphic design, branding and digital visibility.
Graduation may mark the end of one chapter, but it also represents the beginning of another.
With the foundations of Graphic Design, the strategic knowledge gained through Digital Marketing and the practical experience built through freelancing and running a creative studio, there is plenty more to come.
We’re incredibly proud of how far Phoebe has come and grateful for every client, opportunity, lecturer, colleague, friend and family member who has been part of the journey.
